INTERNATIONAL EDUFAIR AND OVERSEAS EDUCATION WORKSHOP
KVASU organized an International Education Fair and Workshop on Opportunities for higher education abroad for the benefit of students and faculty members of the university and nearby universities in the state on 14th June2011 at Pookode, Waynad. Officials from British Council, USEFI, and Australian education, Campus France, Education Canada, IIM, KVASU and KAU presented papers.

        


BRAINSTORMING SESSION TO DEVELOP IT BASED MIS FOR KVASU HOSPITALS
Brainstorming session to further improve the management of the Hospitals of KVASU was held on 17.11.2011 at Conference Hall of College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy. To formulate strategies and suggestions, 20 clinical faculty members were grouped into four, cutting across the disciplines. The group leaders, Dr.K.N.Aravinda Ghosh, Dr.C.B.Devanand, Dr.K.Rajankutty and Dr.M.R.Saseendranath, presented the views of respective groups. Dr.P.C.Alex, Professor of Clinics concluded with a suggestion of introducing, computers with net work connectivity and information kiosks and Starting and functioning of TVCC.

WORKSHOP ON ‘ RESEARCH PRIORITIES IN FOOD SECURITY AND CLIMATOLOGY IN ANIMAL AGRICULTURE’ HELD AT CVAS, MANNUTHY
The Directorate of Entrepreneurship, KVASU has organized a workshop on research priorities in Food security and Climatology in Animal Agriculture at Seminar Hall, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy Campus on 25th January 2012. Winthop Professor Kadambot Siddique, Chair in Agriculture and Associate Dean, Director of Institute of Agriculture, University of Western Australia presented a paper on research priorities in Food Security and Climatology in Animal Agriculture.

   


WORKSHOP ON CLEAN, GREEN AND ETHICAL ANIMAL PRODUCTION
Professor Graeme Martin, Associate Dean and Deputy Director of Institute of Agriculture of University of Western Australia addressed the Faculty, researchers and Students of Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University at CVAS, Mannuthy, Thrissur on 18th February 2012 During the Work Shop on Clean, Green and Ethical Animal Production,Professor Martin explained that better nutrition will ensure better productivity, prolificacy and organ development. Professor Martin is a renowned Animal Biologist having more than three decades experience in Animal production research. Around 200 faculty members, researchers and students participated in the workshop.
