Dairy Diploma Programme

The Department of Dairy Science under the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, offers a Two Year Dairy Diploma Course for the in-service candidates of Dairy Development Department, since 1986. Now the 8th batch is undergoing their programme. The number of candidates admitted to the course is 30. This course is a self financing one. The subjects covered include Dairy Farm Management, milk processing, chemistry, microbiology and technology of Dairy Products. Diploma shall be awarded under the seal of the university to the candidates who successfully complete the requirements of the programme. From 2012 onwards Dairy Diploma Programme will be extended as an open course. The minimum requirement for admission is graduation in any science subjects. Mode of selection will be open merit basis.
