Powers and duties of the Board of Management:
The Board of Management shall be the Chief Executive Body of the University and subject to the provisions of the Act and the Statutes. The executive powers of University including the general superintendence and control over to the institutions of the Uniyersity shall be vested in the Board of Management.
Constitution of the Board of Management: [KVASU Act Chapter V (24)]
The Vice Chancellor
The Secretary to Government (Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Department).
The Secretary to Govemment, Finance Department
The Secretary to Govemment, Law Department or one Additinal Secretary nominated by him.
One member representing the Indian Council of Agricultural Research in the Management Council.
One Dean of faculty elected by the Management Council.
One Member elected from among the teachers in the Management Council, by the Management Council.
Three non-official members of the Management Council elected by the Management Council of whom one shall be a member belonging to the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled tribe and one shall be a woman.
Two members of the Legislative Assembly of which one shall be representing the Constituency where the Headquarters of the University is situated;
One nominee of Veterinary Council of India.
