In the era of Globalization, there is immense potential for Information and communication technology in the world. Global village concept is getting momentum in the country. ICT has wide application in the field of Animal agriculture, Policy, Education, Research, Extension and development. Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University being a specialized university in the areas of Veterinary and Animal Sciences plan to implement ICT HUBS AND LIVESTOCK DELIVERY SYSTEM COMPLEXES’ at various campuses of KVASU to improve IT connectivity.

Objectives

• To establish an ICT complex for students, research scholars, farmers and faculty.
• To establish E hubs for effective knowledge delivery of the institution stakeholders.
• A centre for ICT based delegation and deliberations.
• An ICT centre which cater to basic ICT amenities of the students.
• An ICT based centre which satisfies the livestock technology transfer constraints of the farming society.
• To establish a single window system for facilitating knowledge uptake pathways.
• To tap the effective potential of web based knowledge sharing.
• Establishing of advanced video and audio production units.
