15In association with the XXVII Annual Convention of IAVA and National Symposium on “Advances in Applied Anatomy of Domestic and Wild Animals” - an interdisciplinary approach for Animal Health and Wealth” scheduled to be held on 28th, 29th and 30th November, 2012, it has been planned to organize a wild life photography competition for students of KVASU. Interested students are requested to send entries to the contest as soft copies to iavakerala2012@gmail.com before 4.00 pm of 21.11.2012.
· Photographs of mammals and birds alone would be considered for the competition
· The photograph should be original, taken by the students and copied images from any sources are not allowed.
· The image should be of atleast 4 megapixel, suitable to be printed on A4 size and should have a caption not exceeding 5 words
· A maximum of two entries are permitted for every student participant
The soft copies of the photographs would be evaluated by a panel of judges and the selected photographs alone would be considered for the contest. The selected photographs should be displayed on 28.11.2012 at 2.00 pm by the contestant. A4 sized hard copies of the photographs are to be displayed by the contestant at his/her own expenses. Space for exhibiting the photographs would be provided by the organizer. The venue would be intimated later. The displayed photographs alone would be considered for the contest and the decision of judges would be final.
