Undergone training in advanced 3 D Laparoscopic Surgery

               Dr. P.T. Dinesh Principal Investigator & Co-investigators Dr. C. Jayakumar, Dr. Vinu David & Dr. S. Sooryadas of College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Pookode, completed a diploma course on “Advanced 3- Dimensional Laparoscopic Surgery” at Indian Institute of Laparoscopic Surgery & Training, VG Hospital, Coimbatore during August 2012. They were trained by the world renowned laparoscopic surgeon Dr. V. Venkatesh & his team. This centre is the world’s only 3-D laparoscopic training centre. Hands on exposure were given on endo- trainer boxes and also on live animals. This program was organized under the plan project “Laparoscopic Animal Birth Control – A comparison of Different Techniques, under plan scheme 2011 – 2012 of the state government.
