Milk producers from Chingapuram Dairy cooperative society visited CVAS, Pookode.

As part of one day field trip organized by Chingapuram Dairy cooperative society in coordination with ATMA, thirty five innovative milk producers from Thikkodi, Kozhikode visited farms, clinics and various departments in college of veterinary and animal Sciences, Pookode, Wayanad. The team was headed by Mr.  Anil Kumar A G, Assistant Director, Dairy Development Department. Department of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension organized and co-ordinated the programme. Lecture sessions on ‘Various Disease diagnosis and prevention in dairy animals’ and ‘Dairy and goat farming as an entrepreneur venture in Kerala’ were handled by Dr. Pradeep M, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Veterinary Pathology and Dr. Bimal P. Bashir, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension.
