13Under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) C. Latha, Dean, CVAS, Mannuthy, Prof. (Dr.). V. Rmnath, Officer-in-charge of Central Instrumentation Lab, Dr. M. Shynu, Assistant Professor, Sri. Sarath. T.M, Instrumentation Engineer, and Sri Anil. K.B., Technical Supervisor, 2730kg E-waste was collected from different departments of College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Mannuthy. The E-waste was handed over to Clean Kerala Company under Haritha Kerala Mission of Government of Kerala on 28-10-2019. Honourable Vice-Chancellor, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University Prof. (Dr.) M.R. Saseendranath flagged off the vehicle. Sri. P.S. Jayakumar, Thrissur District Co-ordinator, Haritha Kerala Mission, Prof. (Dr.) N. Ashok, Registrar, KVASU and Prof. (Dr.) C. Latha, Dean, CVAS, Mannuthy, Associate Dean, Dr. P.V. Tresamol, staff and students attended the function.
National Service Scheme Units of CVAS, Mannuthy organised a drive for collection of used plastic pens, “Pen friend” on 28th October-2019 in association with Haritha Kerala Mission of Government of Kerala. Honourable Vice-Chancellor, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University Prof. (Dr.) M.R. Saseendranath inaugurated the programme. Sri. P.S. Jayakumar, Thrissur District Co-ordinator, Haritha Kerala Mission, Prof. (Dr.) N. Ashok, Registrar, KVASU and Prof. (Dr.) C. Latha, Dean, CVAS, Mannuthy addressed the gathering. Associate Dean, Dr. P.V. Tresamol, NSS co-ordinator Dr. T.S. Rajeev, NCC officer Dr. Sankaralingam, Assistant Professor (Academic) Dr. M. Shynu and Assistant Warden Dr. S. Harikrishnan attended the programme. NSS Programme officer Dr. Sreeranjini. A.R. delivered the vote of thanks. The program envisages placing boxes for collection of used plastic pens in different locations of the campus and handing over the collected pens to Haritha Kerala Mission.
