15University Goat and Sheep Farm and ICAR-AICRP Goat Improvement had organized the 37th two days training on “Commercial Goat Farming” on 13th and 14th February, 2020. Twenty five farmers/entrepreneurs participated in the programme. The training started with an introductive lecture by Dr. R. Thirupathy Venkatachalapathy, Professor and Head, Goat and Sheep Farm, followed by lectures from experts of various disciplines which include Dr. N. Madhavan Unni, Assistant Professor, Department of Clinical Medicine, Dr. M.P. Unnikrishnan, Assistant Professor, Animal Reproduction, Dr. Justin Davis, Assistant Professor, Livestock Production and Management, Dr. Jith John Mathew, Assistant Professor, Animal Nutrition, Dr. Roshin M. Reji, Research Associate and Dr. Haritha B. Pillai, Senior Research Fellow, ICAR-AICRP on Goat Improvement (Malabari). Dr. M.K. Narayanan, Director of Entrepreneurship, KVASU distributed the certificates to the participants.
