NOTIFICATION FOR THE POST OF TWO SENIOR RESEARCH OFFICER’s AT COHEART, KVASU
 
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of two Senior Research Officer’s (On one year contract) at the Centre for One Health Education, Advocacy, Research and Training (COHEART) of Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Pookode, Wayanad. The last date for receipt of applications is 30thMarch, 2015.

Interested candidates are requested to forward the bio data on or before 30/3/2015 along with photocopies of relevant certificates to Dr. Prejit, Officer In Charge, Centre for One Health Education, Advocacy, Research and Training, Department of Veterinary Public Health, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Pookode, Wayanad, Kerala, INDIA 673 576. Bio data should include the details of qualification, previous job experience, publications, awards received and trainings undergone etc. The appointment will be purely on temporary basis up to March 31st 2016 as per KVASU rules.

DUTIES OF SRO
·         Developing research projects and conducting interdisciplinary research
·         Building public health workforce capable of delivering the essential public health services across the state
·         Strengthening One Health courses offered by COHEART
·         Conduct awareness programmes/ classes/ Camps
·         Routinely updating the COHEART website, developing extension teaching aids (Brochures/ Leaflets/ Videos etc.). Candidate should be proficient in the usage of Photoshop/ Corel draw etc.
·         Conducting field level outbreak investigations with allied departments or independently
·         Promote and propagate One Health practices
·         Any other worked assigned by COHEART or University
