21The conference was organized by Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS) in Collaboration withIntas Animal Health at Veterinary College and Research Institute (VCRI), Namakkal from 13th-14th August’2015.
Students from 10 states in India presented cases in different session at the conference. Altogether 46 students participated in the Clinical Conference from Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University of which 27 students (21 undergraduate students and 6 post graduate students)were from the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode which stand third in student participation at the conference. Out of 28 papers sent for presentation (20 undergraduate and 8 post graduate), 25 papers were presented in different sessions at the conference.

In Farm Animal Medicine out of 20 presentations, Medical Management of Lantana Poisoning in a Cow presented byLinda George secured first prize.
Successful Medical Management of Haemoproteuscolumbae Infection in a Pigeon presented by Sruthy K.S.bagged first prize out of a total of 9 presentations in Equine, Wildlife, Avian and Exotic Pet Practice session.
In companion Animal Medicineout of a total of 32 presentations in the session, A Case Report on Concurrent Demodicosis, Malassezia Dermatitis and Associated Pyoderma in a Pug presented by Reshma Raj S bagged first prize and Management of Generalized Tetanus in a Dog presented by Muhammed Asif M. secured third prize.
Emergency C-Section and Resuscitation of Kids from a Doe with Prolonged Labour for Five Days presented by Ameya Santhosh secured first prize out of 19 presentations in Small Ruminant Practice.
In postgraduate section, out of 33 presentations in Companion AnimalCombined Sections for Medicine, Animal Reproduction and SurgeryDr. Divya Suresh postgraduate student in the department of Surgery and Radiology bagged second prize for the presentation on A Case of Migrated Air-Gun Pellet Causing Extra-Luminal Obstruction of Urethra in a Dog.
Dr.Akhila V. V. postgraduate student in the department of Animal Reproduction, Gynaecology and Obstetrics secured second prize for the presentation on Management of Vaginal Fibroma in a Pregnant Cowout of 52 presentations ofFarm Animal-Combined Sections for Medicine, Animal Reproduction and Surgery.
