The competent authority of the Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University,Pookode, Wayanad, Kerala  has accorded to permission to provide a few supernumerary seats for various programmes of the University to admit candidates of non-domiciled origin in the following campuses.

Eligibility: Candidates will have to qualify10 + 2 or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology for B.V.Sc and AH and Physics, Chemistry, Maths for B.Tech courses, while it can be any stream at the Plus two levelfor BSc (PP&BM), with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in the qualifying examination as approved by the Central Board of Secondary Education /State Boards other than Kerala.The candidates have to be of non-domiciled origin as certified by the competent authority of the Government of India as on the last date of application.

Fees prescribed:In addition to the tuition fee and special fees as applicable to regular students,( annexure) the selected candidates belonging to tuition fee paying category will be required  to remit a one-time interest free Security deposit as mentioned below, at the time of admission that is refundable to the students who successfully complete the degree programme or by the end of 5/4/3 years depending upon the programme.

1.       B.V.Sc and AH-                                                  Rs. 10 lakhs

2.       B.Tech (Dairy Science and Technology) –Rs. 8 lakhs

3.       B.Tech(Food Technology) –                         Rs. 8 lakhs

4.       B.Sc (PP&BM) –                                                                Rs. 5 lakhs

Mode of admission: Admission will be based on the merit of candidates on their marks obtained in the Qualifying examination in the subjects taken together. A University screening test will be conducted if candidates exceed the vacant seats.  Seats shall be allotted to the higher ranked candidates in the respective entrance examination, who also fulfil the other criteria satisfactorily

Mode of application:The duly filled in application form along with all supporting documents and demand draft of Rs. 2000/- made in favour of the Finance Officer payable at any nationalised bank, shall be addressed to the Director (Academics and Research, Directorate of Academics and Research, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Pookode, Lakkidi Post, Wayanad 673 576 on or before 24-09-2015.

The cover containing the application form and other documents shall be superscribed “Application for admission to B.V.Sc& AH/B.Tech/B.Sc(PP&BM)-Non-domiciled origin quota- 2015”.
