Animal Health Camps were held at south Pullazhi on 21.10.2015 . The programme was inaugurated by Shri. K. Gopinathan, President, Pullazhi Koleppadavu society by supplying medicines and other inputs to the beneficiaries. A team of two asst. professors Dr. A. Janus, Department of Directorate of Entrepreneurship and Dr. C. Jayakumar, Department of Animal reproduction and P.G. Students from the department of animal reproduction lead the camp.Medicines like dewormers, ectoparasiticides, vitamin tablets and inputs like mastitis kit, mineral mixtures were supplied to the beneficiaries. The main goal of the camp was to provide veterinary services to the animals of the beneficiaries. The animals brought by the farmers were examined by the Veterinarians and prescribed medicines. The major cases identified by the doctors include Helminthosis,, infertility, nutritional deficiency and management problems.
