Notification Number: 2/CWS-CVAS-Pookode/SRF dated 23.8.2011 has been amended and renotified as follows. The amendments to the previous notification are highlighted in bold letters. Candidates who have applied in response to the original notification need not apply again.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for appointment to the posts of “Senior Research Officers” on contract basis for the KVASU project for the development of “Centre for Wildlife Studies” to be established in College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode, Wayanad.

Educational Qualifications
Post I: Masters in wildlife science/forestry/wild animal health or closely related disciplines with at least 60% marks/equivalent grade preferably with experience in advanced molecular techniques (PCR and sequencing)
Post II: Masters in ecology/environmental science related disciplines with at least 60% marks/equivalent grade preferably with experience in advanced molecular techniques (PCR and sequencing)
Maximum age limit - 35 Years
Emoluments – Rs. 22,000.00 p.m.
Duration of the Post - 2 Years, Initial appointment will be made for a period of 6 months which will be extended for the full period of 2 years in a phased manner after review of the performance of the candidate on an annual basis.
