Workshop on Communication Skill Development held at Mannuthy

The Academic Staff College(ASC)   organized the level 2 workshop on Communication Skill Development    for PG and Ph.d students at the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy on 13-01-2016.The workshop was inaugurated by the faculty Dean Dr. Sisilamma George. The Dean called for better grooming of the students especially in the area of soft skills so as to improve their professionalism in the field service. Dr.K.P.Sreekumar, Director International Co-operations opined that   vets could improve their employability through better  communication skills and wanted better  exposure to students in this area.  Dr.K.Anil Kumar, Associate Dean said soft skills are ultimately what differentiates a normal person from leaders. Dr.Lucy K.M, Professor Academics and Dr.B.Sunil , Director, ASC, spoke on the occasion.   The sessions were handled by Mr.C.K.Suresh, Director, Attitude Training and Management Associates and Smt.Vijayalekshmi Nair, Professor (Rtd) Department of English, Vimala College Thrissur. Dr. Govind, PG representative proposed the vote of thanks.
