The Career Guidance and Placement Cell (CGPC) of College of Dairy Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram launched the monthly Professional/Technical Lecture Series christened ‘PHRONESIS’ from January 2016 onwards. Special Officer of the College, Prof. (Dr.) P. Sudheer Babu formally inaugurated the programme on 28th of January, 2016, 01:30 P.M. at the College Seminar Hall. Sri. G. R. Jayadevan, Asst. Professor and Officer (i/c) – C.G.P.C welcomed the gathering. Sri. Tony Philip, Student Co-ordinator, C.G.P.C delivered vote of thanks. The inaugural session was followed by invited lectures on the theme ‘Team Work and Group Dynamics’ by Sri. Ashok S - Manager (HR & Administration) and Sri. Ratheesh V - Sr. Officer (HR) of KELTRON, Thiruvananthapuram. The programme came to a close by 05:00 P.M.
‘PHRONESIS’, a humble venture of CDST Thiruvananthapuram organized as part of the ‘Institute-Industry-Interface’ programme would witness at least one professional/technical lecture every month showcasing the areas of knowledge in dairy/food sciences, engineering, general management, personality development, stress management etc. The programme with its tag line “crafting innovative minds” aims at molding the B.Tech students to successful Dairy professionals, capable enough to adorn top-notch positions in food processing and allied sectors across the globe.
