01Ms. Sheba Sugathan, M. Tech (Dairy Technology) student of the College of Dairy Science and Technology, Mannuthy received the best paper award in the subject area ‘Agriculture and Food Sciences’ at the 28th Kerala Science Congress held from 28-30 January 2016 at University of Calicut, Malappuram. The research paper was ‘Development of a ready-to-reconstitute health drink using probiotic L.casei isolated from idli batter’. The guides were Dr. A.K.Beena and Dr. S.N.Rajakumar, faculty members of the college. Ms. Sheba Sugathan has completed her M. Tech course and is waiting for results. Presently she is working as Teaching Assistant for the B. Tech (D. Sc and Tech) programme at Pookode.
