09Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University conducts the first intercollegue athletic meet on the grounds of college of Veterinary and Animals Sciences, Mannuthy. The Athletic meet scheduled on 9th and 10th of February will be conducted jointly by the director of students welfare, the department of physical education and the University Union. Seven colleges under the Veterinary University will mark their participation in the athletic meet. The inaugural ceremony for the Ist intercollege athletics meet will be on Tuesday 9.00AM on the Veterinary college ground, Mannuthy. The function begin with a colourful march past by the athlets of all the 7 colleges. The progamme will be inaugurated by the Rural SP. of Thrissur Mr. Karthic IPS with the presidential address given by Dr. Sisiliamma George, Dean, College of Veterinary& Animal Sciences, Mannuthy.
