College of Dairy Science and Technology, Mannuthy celebrates International Women’s Day

On March 8th, the College of Dairy Science and Technology celebrated International Women’s day. The programme was organized by the Student’s Union exclusively for girl students and lady teachers. The chief guest was Mrs. Uma Preman, CNN-IBN Real Hero Award Winner and founder of the Santhi Medical Information Centre, Guruvayur, Thrissur. She gave a speech on various trials she had to face in life and how she was motivated in giving medical assistance to the poor and needy people. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. G. Girish Varma, Dean, CDST and Ms. Surabhi, President of Students Union presided.
