Vechur male calves for Sale @Mannuthy

            As you are aware there is a huge demand for indigenous cattle, especially pure bred Vechur animals from different farmers. Vechur Cattle Conservation Project, CASAGB, Mannuthy is selling only limited numbers of heifers to farmers. However, the regular supply of chilled semen to the already sold cows, their progeny and other registered cows are continuing from the project. This sale is mostly to the animals of Thrissur and adjoining districts only. Farmers at different parts of Kerala and other South Indian states are interested to procure pedigreed Vechur bulls or male calves for breeding purpose. So I humbly request you to take necessary steps to upload a circular regarding the availability of six Vechur and four Kasargod dwarf male calves for sale from the Vechur Cattle Conservation Project, CASAGB, Mannuthy in the University website as early as possible. The details of the animals proposed for sale are given below. The registered organizations of farmers self help groups may be given some preferences. The interested persons can contact Dr. Manoj M.
