KVASU organized training on Goat rearing in collaboration with NABARD at Pudussery Panchayath of Palakkad District

Two days hands on training programme was  organized at Pudussery Panchayath of Palakkad District by University Goat and Sheep Farm Mannuthy as a part of NABARD - Farm Sector Promotional Fund Project on “Developing an Inclusive Model for Sustainable Goat Production in Kerala on 16^th and 17^th March, 2016. As an introductive session, Dr. R.Thirupathy Venkatachalapathy, Principal Investigator of the Project explained the working plan of the project. Dr. K.C. Shaji, Senior Veterinary Surgeon,  Dr. Vineetha, Veterinary Surgeon, Dr. Jamuna Valsalan, Assistant Professor, Dr. Bimal.P.Bashir Senior Research Fellow- AICRP – Malabari Unit handled the sessions. An exposure visit was also organized to University Goat  Farm, Mannuthy and Dr. Winny Chittilappilly, Senior Research Fellow, AICRP – Malabari Unit explained regarding daily farm activities.
