Trial run of the feed mill unit at Avian Research Station Thiruvazhamkunnu

 The installation of the feed mill unit at the Avian Research Station has been completed and the trail run of the same was successfully conducted on the 30th of March 2016. The switching on of the machinery was conducted by The Special Officer of the Faculty of Poultry Science, Dr. A Jalaludeen. The function was attended by Dr. Ajith Babu, Dr. Vimal Antony, Dr. Shamna T.P. and Dr. Vineetha P.G., Assistant Professors of the College of Avian Sciences and Management, Thiruvazhamkunnnu. The feed mill has a capacity of 6 Tonne per hour and intends to cater to the need of poultry farmers of northern Kerala. The full fledged functioning of the unit is expected by the first of May 2016.
