Awareness Seminar on Profitable Dairying held at Manathavady

                                     Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University organised one day Awareness seminar on profitable Dairying at Manathavady Ksheerolpathaka Sahakarana Sangham on 18th June 2016. Directorate of Entrepreneurship of the University in association with Wayanad District Kudumbasree Mission, Manathavady Ksheerolpathaka Sahakarana Sangham, Wayanad organised the programme. The programme aimed at creating awareness among the dairy farmers on productivity enhancement, Monsoon care of cows and use of appropriate technologies for augmenting production. 200 Dairy farmers attended the programme. Director of Entrepreneurship Dr.T.P.Sethumadhavan took a class on profitable dairying. Sri.P.T.Biju, President, Manathavady Ksheerolpathaka Sahakarana Sangham, Secretary Smt. Manjusha, CDS Chairperson Smt.Pushpa Mathew and Director board members of Milk Co-operative Society attended the programme. KVASU will associate with Manathavady Ksheerolpathaka Sahakarana Sangham in providing veterinary services and call centre facilities through e Vetconnect, student outreach programme and Entrepreneurship development.
