21College of Dairy Science and Technology, Mannuthy celebrated International Day of Yoga on June 21, 2016. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. S.N. Rajakumar, Head, Dairy Plant and Head, Department of Dairy Technology at the VKIDFT classroom. Students’ Union President Kum. Haritha. C. presided over the function. A Yoga Club is started at CDST, where Yoga classes shall be given from 4 pm to 5 pm.
Dr. R. Kanthanathan, Assistant Professor (Physical Education) took a class on Yoga and also gave a live demonstration of various ‘asana’s in Yoga. The programme was felicitated by Mr. Shyam Suraj S.R, Ms. Indu B and Dr. N. Raveendranath. Mr. Aswin S. Warrier welcomed the gathering and Mr. Raeesul Islam gave the vote of thanks.
