The first Students’ Union 2016-17 of the College of Food Technology, Thumburmuzhy -‘YUVANA‘ inaugurated on 28.6.2016 at 12:30 pm

The first Students’ Union 2016-17 of the College of Food Technology, Thumburmuzhy -‘YUVANA‘ was inaugurated on 28.6.2016 (Tuesday) at 12:30 pm. The programme started with the college’s choir. Student’s Union Vice President, Mr. Ananthakrishnan S. welcomed the gathering. Ms. Anjitha Thampi, President, Student’s Union, presided over the function. Dr. Dinker Singh, Patron, addressed the students. Mr. Omar Lulu, Director, Happy Wedding, inaugurated the function. Mr. N.P. Antony (M.D. Pavizham Groups) was the special guest. Mr. Shyam P.S. (Ward Member, Pariyaram Grama Panchayat), Dr. A. Prasad (Head, Cattle Breeding Farm, Thumburmuzhy), Mr. Radhakrishnan (President, CFT-PTA), Mrs Athira S (Associate Patron) and Mr. Vivek R.G. (Member, Executive Committee, SFI-CFT Unit) felicitated the function. The prize for giving name ‘YUVANA’ and logo to the Student’ Union was given to Ms. Tiny J Titus by Mr. Omar Lulu. Mr. Ajilesh, winner of inter college athletic competition, was honored by the Special Guest. Mr. Bharath K.R. gave the vote of thanks. The inauguration was followed by short film fest and cultural activities of students.
