NSS Unit, CDST, Mannuthy has organized a hands on training programme for milk and milk products in connection with "Njattuvela Chanda"at Choondal and set  a pavilion to showcase the products.The goal was to provide the students with the knowledge and practical experience to  curate exhibitions and to establish  an approachable  link to the general public and farmers to the  university.
