Start up Village Project Organized a seminar on ‘Monsoon care of live stock

               As a part of plan project on “Start up village in live stock production”, Directorate of Entrepreneurship, KVASU in association with Pullazhy Kole organized a seminar on “Monsoon care of Livestock” for the selected farmers on 12.07.2016 at Pullazhy Library Hall, Thrissur district.  Sri. Kolangattu  Gopinathan, President, Pullazhy Kole Society has chaired the session. Dr. Deepa Ananth, Assistant Professor, KVASU has handled the technical session. The commonly occurred diseases and the preventive management measures to take during the rainy season were discussed in the session. During the programme the farmers requested to organize an infertility camp, as it is found one of the major issues in the area.

The selected 30 farmers were participated the programme and inputs like lime stone and ecto parasiticides were distributed to the beneficiaries. While concluding the session, Dr.Deepa Ananth has opined that the programme model of this project in Pullazhy Kole land should evolve to be an adoptable model for the emerging entrepreneurs in the State.
