16The second batch of "Hands on Training on Basic Ophthalmic Diagnostic Procedures in Veterinary Practice" was organized at the Department of Surgery and Radiology, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy from 11-13rd July 2016. This was the second batch of the training series where six participants from different parts of Kerala attended the training. The training started on 11th July in the department of Surgery and Radiology. Participants were given hands on training on various ophthalmic diagnostic procedures including direct ophthalmoscopy, indirect ophthalmoscopy, tonometry, slit lamp biomicroscopy and various common ophthalmic affections in large and small animals. The training concluded on 13-7-2016 and the certificates to the participants were distributed by the Dr.T.P.Sethumadhavan, Director of Entrepreneurship, KVASU, Pookode on the valedictory function where Dr.C.B.Devanand, Professor and Head, Dept of Surgery and Radiology welcomed the gathering and Dr.S.Anoop, Assistant Professor and Course Director expressed vote of thanks.
