                        Agriculture and Animal Husbandry sector should work together for sustainable agriculture in the State; Says Adv. V.S.Sunilkumar, Hon'ble Minister for Agriculture, Government of Kerala.Minister made this statement while delivering the keynote address and best teacher Award distribution function held at College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy on 23rd July 2016. Government is in the process of implementing a mega project on Organic vegetable cultivation. Scientists should work together for a meaningful results in Agriculture which would be socially auditable. Impact of research should reach thefarming community. Minister added.  Minister distributed Best teacher awards to Dr.Anoop.S, Asst Professor, Dept of Surgery and Raiology for  the Best teacher 2015 and Dr.S.Harikrishnan, Asst Professor, Dept of Poultry Science in the category of Dean's Award for the best teacher.  Adv.K.Rajan MLA presided over the function. Adv.K.Rajan MLA distributed awards to students Deepak Chandran and Rasim. M  for their acheivements in essay competition.  Dean Dr.Sisilamma George welcomed the delegates. Councillor Adv.Ramadasan,Board of Management member Dr.Sabin George, Director of Entrepreneurship Dr.T.P.Sethumadhavan and Finance Officer Dr.K.M.Syam Mohan offered felicitations.Associate Dean Dr.K.Anilkumar expressed vote of thanks.Teachers, Staff and Students of KVASU Mannuthy Campus attended the programme.
