Hands on training on ‘Preparation of Milk Products for Small Scale Enterprises’ started at CDST, Mannuthy

The College of Dairy Science and Technology, Mannuthy in association with Indian Dairy Association – Kerala chapter is organizing Hands on training on ‘Preparation of Milk Products for Small Scale Enterprises’ from 1.9.2016 to 3.9.2016. The programme is conducted as part of the academic programme of 2012 batch of B. Tech (Dairy Science and Technology). The inauguration of the programme was done by Dr. G. Girish Varma, Dean of the Faculty of Dairy Science and Technology at the Seminar Hall of KVASU Dairy plant on 1.9.2016. Dr. P.I. Geevarghese, Chairman, IDA – Kerala chapter presided over the function. Dr. S.N. Rajakumar, Head, KVASU Dairy Plant and Dr. Ligimol James, Assistant Professor and Secretary, IDA- Kerala chapter gave felicitations. Ms. Divya K.B, Assistant Professor welcomed the gathering and Mr. Abinash, Class Representative of 2012 batch gave the vote of thanks. The programme is attended by 43 entrepreneurs and it shall continue for the next two days consisting of theory and practical sessions on the manufacture and marketing of various milk products. Certificates shall be given to participants by the Directorate of Entrepreneurship, KVASU.
