312013 batch students of the College of Dairy Science and Technology, Mannuthy received Second Best Poster Award at the 10th convention of Indian Dairy Engineers Association held at the Sheth M C College, Anand, Gujrat. The group consisting of Anju Elizabath, Jai Krishnan K, Rahmath K S(students of Batch, 2013) and Aswin S Warrier(Asst.Professor, Dept.of Dairy Engineering) received the award for the category "Engineering for Innovative Dairy Process Developments".The title was ‘Conversion of Plastic Waste to Fuel. A Promise to Dairy Waste Management and An Energy Solution". The project put forwards a novel and scientific technology for the plastic waste management which could eliminate the drawbacks of the conventional and existing other scientific plastic waste management system.
