VCs' National meet to be held at Kochi

Kochi, Dec 15, 2011: Vice Chancellors of the country will meet at Kochi today as part of the three day annual conference of the Association of Indian Universities. This is the 86th national conference of AIU. More than 200 Vice Chancellors are expected to attend the meeting. The conference will be held at Flora Airport Hotel at Nedumbassery, near here.E Ahmed, Union minister of state for human resource development will inaugurate the meeting today at 10 am. P K Abdu Rabb, state education minister will preside. Revenue minister Thiruvanchiyoor Radhakrishnan will be the chief guest. He will release the special number of University News, the weekly magazine of AIU. President of AIU Dr. PT chande will deliver the introductory note and Dr K Mohandas, Vice Chancellor of Kerala University of Health Sciences and former President of AIU will deliver the keynote address.
