21Dr. John Abraham, Assistant Professor Department of LPM, have won the Innovation award instituted by DST-Lockheed Martin Innovation Growth Programme-2016. The DST-Lockheed Martin India Innovation growth Programme is a joint initiative of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, Lockheed Martin Corporation, USA; Indo-US Science and Technology Forum; Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Stanford Graduate School of Business. The aim of the programme is to accelerate innovative Indian technologies into the global market.Dr. John Abraham’s innovation “Renewable biofuel production from chicken slaughter waste’” has fetched him this prestigious award. This innovation was selected as one among the best 10 innovation, from 5700 applicant country wide. This award carries a cash incentive of Rs. 1 lakh, which was presented by the Andhra Pradesh chief minister Shri.
