KVASU Participated in Exhibition at KKTM Govt. College, Kodungalloor

Dairy Science Dept. of College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy has participated in the Exhibition on "BIO-DIVERSITY FOR HEALTH AND WELFARE OF MAN" organised by the Botany and Zoology Departments of Kunni Kuttan Thampuran Memmorial Govt. College , Pullut, Kodungallur on 5th and 6th day of January 2017 . The Dairy science department exhibited a well equipped stall in the exhibition. Live exhibition of milk testing by using milk analyser was demonstrated in the stall. Different varieties for feeds/fodder including Azolla, Hybrid Napier, Guinea grass, Hydroponics etc are also exhibited. The method of preparation of some dairy products were depicted in Malayalam vinyl boards. The major attraction of the stall was on the floor production of various milk products. A wide range of milk products were exhibited including Paneer and Channa, Peda, Burfi ice cream and whey sip up. Dairy Diploma students actively participated in the exhibition and explained the above mentioned activities to the participants from various schools and colleges. Quiz was also conducted for students and prizes awarded.
