21As curtains fell on the 2nd Intercollege Athletic Meet of Kerala Veterinary & Animal Sciences University on January 19, 2017, Thursday, College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Pookode emerged as the champions with 109 points, followed by College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Mannuthy at 2nd position and College of Dairy Science & Technology, Mannuthy at 3rd position with 103 & 34 points respectively. Gokul Raj S. of CVAS, Pookode & Yoophika Iakai of CDST, Mannuthy rose as the individual champions with 15 & 11 points respectively. Dr. T. I. Manoj (Administrative Member, Kerala Sports Council) was the chief guest for the valedictory function, which was presided over by Afsal, University Union President.
