27College of Dairy Science and Technology, Mannuthy started a lecture series named “Navaneetham - the butter churned out of milk and wisdom” with the aim of organizing one lecture every month by prominent speakers of various fields. It was inaugurated on 25.1.2017 (Wednesday) by Hon. KAU Vice Chancellor Dr. P. Rajendran at the Seminar Hall of KVASU Dairy Plant. A technical newsletter “FooDT – Food and Dairy Technology Outlines” was released by the Registrar of KVASU Dr. Joseph Mathew. Dean of the Faculty Dr. G. Girish Varma presided over the function. Dr. S.N. Rajakumar, Head (Dairy plant) delivered the key note address. Dr. P. Sudheer Babu and Dr. Saabin George, Members of the BoM of KVASU and Dr. C.T. Sathian, Head, Dairy Science Dept., COVAS gave felicitations. Dr. Divya M.P. welcomed the guests and Dr. Vinod Viswanath gave the vote of thanks.
