Training programme on Commercial Goat farming organised at University Goat and Sheep Farm, Mannuthy.

Training on Commercial Goat Farming was organised on 10-11th, January, 2017 by University Goat and Sheep Farm, Mannuthy . Seventeen entrepreneurs from different parts of the state attended the training. Programme was started with an introductive lecture by Dr. Thirupathy Venkatachalapathy, Head followed with lectures on Breeding, Farm Management, Feeding, Reproduction and Disease prevention by the experts in the relevant field, Dr. Jamuna Valsalan, Dr. Manju Sashidharan, Dr. Deepa Ananth, Dr. Abhilash. R.S. and Dr. Justin Davis. Practical sessions were conducted by Dr. Bimal.P.Bashir and Dr.Upasana Ratnakaran. An interactive session was also held to discuss various aspects of commercial goat rearing.
