Food processing is a promising area which can fetch viable returns to the Entrpreneur. this sector shows annual growth rate of around 20per cent in India. startup venture s can be successfully implemented in agri sector through integrating Agri,livestock and fisheries sectors. Health and farm tourism along with hospitality sectors will pave way for sustainable results
Directorate I'd entrepreneurship organised state level meet on 19th. February 2017 at ABG auditorium Peerumedu,Idukki in order to promote livestock based entrepreneurship in Idukki district . Smt E.S. Bijimol MLA inaugurated the programme. Dr.T.P.Sethumadhavan director Entrepreneurship delivered keynote address. Scientists from KVASU, Dr.Deepa Ananth, Dr.DeepuM.T., Dr.George Sherin, Dr.B.Ajith Babu, Dr.Tomy Thomas handled various sessions. Mr.M.V Kunjikannan lead bank manager,Idukki explained on banking and finance opportunities for entrepreneurship. About 200 entrepreneurs in this sector attended the meet.
