22Final year BVSc & AH students of CVAS, Pookode successfully completed their All India study tour as a part of their curriculum from 24th November to 16th December 2011. Dr. Bipin. K.C, Dr.Sooryadas. S and Dr. Amrita Aravind of KVASU Pookode campus accompanied them as tour officers. Places of visit included West Bengal University of Animal & Fishery Sciences, Kolkata, Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Bareilly and Mukteshwar campuses, GB Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pant Nagar, AMUL Dairy, Anand Veterinary College and Bombay Veterinary College. Students were able to get updated with the developments in livestock sector and different levels of animal research in the country and assessed the career opportunities in our country in respective fields.
