23Hands on training programme on preparation of dairy products were conducted for entrepreneurs/dairy farmers from December 15th-17th 2011 at KVASU Dairy Plant, Mannuthy. 21 participants attended the programme. They were given practical training on preparation of Paneer, Curd, Ice cream, Sip-up, Whey drink and Gulab Jamun. Moreover introduction on milk products like Yoghurt, Paneer pickle etc was given. Classes and practical training were handled by Faculty members, Academic Consultants, guests and trainees of Dairy Science College and KVASU Dairy Plant. Participants expressed their immense satisfaction and gratitude for the programme. The certificates were given by Dr. R. Rajendrakumar, Dean, Dairy Science College which was presided over by Dr. C.T. Sathian, Professor and Head, Dairy Plant. Mr. Shyam Suraj.S.R, Academic Consultant was the course co-ordinator of the programme.
