22Training on Commercial Goat Farming was organised on 19th and 20th, April, 2017 by University Goat and Sheep Farm, Mannuthy . Fourteen entrepreneurs from different parts of the state attended the training. Programme was started with an introductive lecture by Dr. Thirupathy Venkatachalapathy, Head followed with lectures on Breeding, Farm Management, Feeding, Reproduction and Disease prevention by the experts in the relevant field, Dr. Manju Sashidharan, Dr. Deepa Ananth, Dr. Jayakumar, Dr. S. Sulficar, Dr. Jamuna Valsalan and Dr.Deepak Mathew. Practical sessions were conducted by Dr. Bimal.P.Bashir. An interactive session was also held to discuss various aspects of commercial goat rearing.
