22Hands on training on topic ‘Fermentation for value addition’ under KSCSTE project ‘Biotechnology Innovations for Rural development’ begins from 21-04-2017 at College of Dairy Science and Technology, Pookode. Smt.Archana Chandran, Principal Investigator, BIRD project welcomed the gathering. The function was presided by Director of Academics and Research Dr.K Devada. The training programme was inaugurated by Finance Officer Dr. Shyam Mohan. Dr.S.Maya, Associate Dean, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Pookode and Dr.Dinker Singh, Assistant Professor, CDST Pookode felicitated the gathering. Smt.Smitha J Lukose,Assistant Professor,CDST,Pookode delivered vote of thanks. The focus areas of the training programme are preparation of fermented milk products like yoghurts/curds, srikhand, cheese/paneer, butter milk, lassi, and whey drinks.
