28Under the auspices of the College of Dairy Science and Technology, Mannuthy and Indian Dairy Association, Kerala chapter, a three days Hands-on training on preparation of milk products for small scale entrepreneurs (‘Unarvu – 2017’) was conducted at the department of Dairy Technology from 24.5.2017 to 26.5.2017. The programme was part of Experiential Learning programme of 2013 batch B. Tech (Dairy Science and Technology) students with the guidance of Dairy Technology faculty. The programme was inaugurated on 24.5.2017 by Dr. G.Girish Varma, Dean of the faculty in the presence of Dr. P.I. Geevarghese, Chairman, IDA -Kerala chapter. Dr. S.N. Rajakumar, Head, Department of Dairy Technology and KVASU Dairy Plant distributed the certificates on the last day. Dr. A.K. Beena, Dr. Ligimol James, Mr. Shyam Suraj S.R., Ms. Smitha .J. Lukose and Ms. Anusha .V gave the felicitations. The practical and theory classes were handled by students and their efforts were highly appreciated by the participants. Ms. Divya K.B was the co-ordinator of the programme.
