The �World Environment Day� celebrations in the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy campus

The ‘World Environment Day’ celebrations in the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy campus was organized by the School of Zoonoses, Public Health and Pathobiology (SZPHPB) in association with the NSS units and the Students Union of CVAS, Mannuthy. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. K. Anilkumar, Associate Dean and felicitated by Dr. N. Divakaran Nair, NSS Programme Co-ordinator and the briefing of the programme was carried out by Dr. C. Sethulekshmi, Assistant Professor, Department of Veterinary Public Health. The celebration was marked by planting of around 200 tapioca stems and ‘Kariveppu’ saplings in six plots in the campus; three near the Ladies Hostel and three near the Mens Hostel. The programme was carried out by 2015 batch students and NSS unit members under the leadership of Dr. P.V. Tresamol, Dr. Priya P.M, Dr. Manju Sasidharan, Dr. K. Vrinda Menon, Dr. Priya M. N, Dr. Binsy Mathew, Dr. Krithiga. K, Dr. Devi S.S, Dr.Surya Sankar and Dr. Deepthi Vijay.
