26College of Dairy Science and Technology, Pookode organized a One Day Awareness Workshop on “Yoga and Wellness” on 23.6.2017 in connection with the celebration of International Yoga Day-2017. Ms Arya R Chandran, Teaching Assistant, Department of Dairy Business Management, welcomed the gathering. Dr Jose Mathew, Assistant Professor, Department of Physical Education, presided over the function. Dr John Martin, Head, TVCC, inaugurated the function. Dr Dinker Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Dairy Technology and Mrs Smitha J Lukose, Assistant Professor, Department of Dairy Chemistry, gave the felicitation speech. Shri Vyshak C, Teaching Assistant, Department of Dairy Engineering delivered the vote of thanks. Shri Gopalakrishnan, Yoga Acharya, resource person, taught and conducted the practical session about the importance of Yoga and Its benefits. All the teaching and non-teaching staff including students actively participated the workshop.
