06University Goat Farm, Mannuthy has organized 21th training on Goat Farming from 28th -29th June, 2017. Ten farmers/entrepreneurs were participated in the programme. The training was started with an introductive lecture by Dr. Thirupathy Venkatachalapathy, Head, Goat and Sheep Farm, followed by lectures from experts from various disciplines which includes Dr. Manju Sasidharan, Asst. Professor, Dept. of LPM, Dr. Deepa Ananth, Asst. Professor, Directorate of Entrepreneurship, Dr. P. Tresamol, Professor and Head, Dept. of Preventive Medicine, Dr. Unnikrishnan, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Veterinary Gynacology, Dr. Bimal.P.Bashir, SRF,AICRP on Goat and Dr. Deepak Mathew, Assistant Professor. Field visit was arranged to a Goat Farm at Puthur, having 120 goats, maintained by Mr. Timothy.
