05University Goat Farm, Mannuthy had organized 22nd training on “Goat Farming” from 2-3rd August, 2017. Fifteen farmers/entrepreneurs were participated in the programme. The training was started with an introductive lecture by Dr. R. Thirupathy Venkatachalapathy, Head, Goat and Sheep Farm, followed by lectures from experts from various disciplines which includes Dr. Manju Sasidharan, Asst. Professor, Dept. of LPM, Dr. Deepa Ananth, Asst. Professor, Directorate of Entrepreneurship, Dr. Zulficar, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Preventive Medicine, Dr. Unnikrishnan, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Veterinary Gynacology, Dr. Bimal.P.Bashir, SRF,AICRP on Goat and Dr. Deepak Mathew, Assistant Professor. Field visit was arranged to a Goat Farm at Tirur having 125 goats, maintained by Chaldean Seminary.
