20The Students’ Union of the College of Dairy Science and Technology, Mannuthy conducted Inter-Class Athletic Meet ‘ASTAR – 17’ on 19.12.2017 at the Veterinary College Ground, Mannuthy. The Meet was inaugurated by the Dean of the faculty Dr. P. Sudheer Babu. The faculty members including Dr. Joe Joseph (Physical Education) , Ms. Baby Salini (Physical Education), Mr. Shyam Suraj S.R.(Associate Patron), Mr. Rinu Thomas; and students Mohammad Arshath ( Athletic Captain), Ms. Meghna. P.S. (Students’ Union President), Mohammed Riyas (Secretary) and Mr. Ammiti Murali Krishna (PG student) assisted the students. Competition was held on 11 events each separately for boys and girls. 2015 batch emerged the Champions and 2014 batch was the Runner-up. Mr. Gokul C.R (2016 batch) and Ms. Mekha (2015 batch) were the Individual Champions.
