18Sri. K R Kumaran, Chief Artist, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy won the National Lalitakala Academy Award 2017-18 during the 59th National Exhibition of Art, New Delhi 2017-18 for his painting ‘Stray Dogs’ done in acrylic on a large canvas (Size: 108 inches X 48 inches). The work on a very relevant social issue had also gained critics’ acclaim during a recently held exhibition ‘The Sentence’ at the Kerala Lalithakala Akademi Art Gallery.
College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy joins the world in congratulating Sri K.R. Kumaran and wish him all success in future also.
