27Workshop on research priorities in Food security and Climatology in Animal Agriculture was held at Seminar Hall, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences of Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Mannuthy Campus on 25th January 2012. Director of Academics and Research, KVASu Dr.A.Jalaludeen inaugurated the workshop. Director of Entrepreneurship Dr.S.Ramkumar presided over the function and delivered keynote address. Dean, CDST Dr.Rajendrakumar and Associate Director, KAU and Special Officer ACCER Dr.G.S.L.V. Prasada Rao offered felicitations. Dean, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Dr.H.Subramanian welcomed the gathering and Professor RC& International Co-operation, KVASU Dr.K.P.Sreekumar expressed vote of thanks. Winthop Professor Kadambot Siddique. Chair in Agriculture and Associate Dean, Research of Institute of Agriculture of University of Western Australia presented a paper on research priorities in Food Security and Climatology in Animal Agriculture. Around 100 faculty members,students and researchers of KVASU attended the Workshop
